If you wake up with debilitating pain in your heels every morning, it's likely you have Plantar Fasciitis.

PLANTAR FASCIITIS is inflammation of the thick tissue on the bottom of the foot. This tissue is called the plantar fascia. It connects the heel bone to the toes and creates the arch of the foot. Pain is concentrated near the spot where the arch and heel meet. The pain may lessen after taking a few steps, but it usually comes back after resting or with prolonged movement.

Plantar Fasciitis is common in middle-aged people but it also occurs frequently in professional athletes, athletes of all ages and others who spend a great deal of time on their feet, such as soldiers, medical or restaurant workers, teachers, etc.
